Grant commenced with the firm in 1982 as an undergraduate and was appointed a Partner in 1988.

Grant has extensive experience in the areas of complex property transactions, self-managed superannuation funds, audit, taxation, business development, SME business support, digital business development, family estate planning, risk mitigation strategy development, family office advisory and support, litigation support and not for profit DGR charitable organisations.

Grant was the male lay community representative on the Human Research Ethics Committee of Perth Children’s Hospital for 10 years and Chairman of the charity Life Plan Inc for 20 years.

Since 2021 Grant has been company secretary for Kimberley Cotton Company Ltd and director and secretary of Homeless Health Care Ltd.

Grant’s qualifications include Bachelor of Business, Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), Chartered Tax Advisor of the Tax Institute of Australia, is a Registered Tax Agent.

Craig commenced with the firm in 1985 and has been a partner since 1994. He has worked in the industry for over 40 years, spending time working overseas to expand his skillset and broaden his knowledge base. He believes that we never stop learning from the people we meet and uses this knowledge to help each client achieve success on a path that is tailored to them.

Craig provides business advisory & succession planning, taxation & accounting, cash flow modelling, financial analysis and corporate advisory services to a wide range of business including those in the property, medical and agricultural sectors.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Post Graduate Diploma in Business, is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and is a Registered Tax Agent.

Sonia commenced with the firm in 1996, progressing to partner in 2001. Sonia is known for her commitment to providing a high standard of advice and expert knowledge to her clients.

Sonia has been instrumental in developing and nurturing client relationships, understanding that each client is unique which enables her to assist her clients to achieve their outcomes. Providing advice in the areas of taxation, business services and consulting, business structures, corporate advisory and Superannuation.

Sonia holds a Bachelor of Business, is a member of CAANZ, is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Registered Tax Agent.

Matthew commenced with the firm in 1999, building on previous experience in the profession.  He was appointed Partner in 2001 and has since provided expert advice in taxation, superannuation, business management and strategy to a diverse group of clients. Matthew values and enjoys the strong relationships he builds through personal interaction and engagement.

Matthew is a board member of Heart and Lung Research Institute of Western Australia Inc and Warpnine Inc, with both organisations making meaningful life-changing contributions to the community.

Keti joined Sothertons in 2002 and was appointed Director in 2009. Keti has over 30 years of professional experience in providing accounting, taxation and business consulting services to clients.

Keti prides herself on developing strong client relationships and providing excellent client service. Her broad knowledge, excellent communication skills and understanding of accounting software allows her to engage with clients specific needs. 

Keti is well known in Perth’s netball community and has been a dedicated netball coach for 25 years.

Keti holds memberships with CPA Australia, Tax Institute of Australia, an affiliate member of (CAANZ) and Registered Tax Agent.

Aimee joined the firm in 2016 and was appointed Director in 2025. She provides expert taxation, superannuation, and business management advice to a diverse client base.

Known for her approachable style and genuine care for her clients, Aimee builds strong, lasting relationships by combining technical knowledge with a thoughtful, personalised approach to each client’s circumstances.

Aimee has led key innovations within the firm, including the transition to a paperless workpaper environment and the adoption of enhanced technology to improve client services.

Aimee holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a member of CAANZ and is a Registered Tax Agent.

JD joined UHY Haines Norton Perth in 2022 as a Manager and was appointed Director in July 2025. He specialises in taxation, superannuation, and business advisory services for small to medium-sized enterprises, with a strong focus on strategic planning and client growth. JD is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals through practical, tailored advice.

JD qualified as a Chartered Accountant with CAANZ in 2019 after completing his studies in South Africa.

Outside of work, JD enjoys camping, fishing, and watching rugby with family and friends.
